Xocoyotzin Herrera of LMS Records and ABC series “Lost” and film “Youth In Revolt” have one thing in common….. LMS writer/artist Xocoyotzin Herrera! Xocoyotzin Herrera’s song “El Mago Cardona” is on Miguel Arteta’s new film “Youth In Revolt”. The film’s story centers around 14-year-old, Nick, who sets his sights on dream girl Sheeni Saunders, hoping that she'll be the one to take away his virginity. “El Mago Cardona”, a traditional Mexican Ranchera, tells the crude story of criminals, heroes and drug trafficking in the rural frontier areas of Mexico. The film is slated for release October 30th, 2009. Also, Xocoyotzin Herrera’s “Puñalada Al Corazon” comes to the “rescue” for the Series “LOST” with its slow and swinging Mexican Norteño feel featuring a drunkenly accordion and coarsely vocals. Xocoyotzin Herrera will be performing with his Jarocho band Sept. 17th. at the LACMA Museum in Los Angeles.
