OIRXELA - Mojao Mojao
OIRXELA
Born in the United States to parents of Colombian descent. Growing up under diverse social surroundings in New Orleans, he was strongly influenced by the ghetto and his love of Rap and Hip Hop. As an artist, his early songs were filled with dark underground tones and flavors of Lil Wayne. Eventually his Latin roots hauled him out to seek the missing Salsa in his music. This realization made him return to Colombia to rekindle his roots and thus started a new stage in his artistic journey.
OIRXELA calls his style a perfect mix of Gringo-Latin, exploring Dancehall, Reggaeton, Trap and Urban Pop.
Born in a cultural melting pot, to a family against culture… half-blood reggaetonero, Oirxela storms latin-urban mainstream to reignite the roots of white-washed children of Latin-Caribbean descent and re-establish the power of the Mestizo community.
Armed with Spanglish metaphors and “million-dollar melodies” Oirxela emerges as El Gringolombiano. This is Afropop. This is Gringolombia. This is Oirxela.
